Few job seekers received job opportunity from Altonexus Technologies Inc. The entire recruitment process, including interviews, was conducted through the Signal app, which may have raised some initial eyebrows. However, few job seekers was hired promptly the next day, which added an air of legitimacy to the whole affair.

Red Flag

The real red flags started to appear when Altonexus Technologies Inc sent a check for $2,200.25 via email. They instructed the victim to print the check and deposit it into their bank account using a mobile app. This tactic should set off alarm bells for anyone. Legitimate companies do not typically send checks via email or ask new hires to deposit checks as a part of the onboarding process. they ask job seekers to transfer the money via Zelle to a supposed "private vendor" for the purchase of a work laptop.

No legitimate employer would ask a new employee to deposit a check and then transfer funds for office supplies.

The Altonexus Technologies Inc Scam is a stark reminder of the importance of staying vigilant in the digital age. By being cautious, verifying the legitimacy of offers, and promptly reporting suspicious activity, you can protect yourself from falling victim to scams and frauds.
